Members of the Laikipia Farmers’ Association use their land productively and responsibly

The Laikipia Farmers’ Association was revitalised in 2014, and ever since then, it has offered itself as a crisis-response organisation, a collection of stakeholders whose greatest concern is the continued success of the agricultural, livestock and wildlife economy of the county.

LFA members, a group which includes farms, ranches and conservancies as well as businesses and select individuals, are all dedicated to sustainable productivity and make their social responsibilities a priority. They work with government officials, NGOs, researchers, the private sector and international investors in order to ensure the continued development of Laikipia, seeking solutions that benefit the county as a whole.
