Green is the only way! Ol Pejeta has committed to be 100% renewable energy powered by 2023. In 2017, they started the conversion of their first borehole pump, which produces water for wildlife, livestock and people on and around the conservancy. With the support of Pure Leapfrog, they have converted another boreholes and hope to have all staff accommodation and offices converted by the end of 2023. This has been done in conjunction as part of their incorporation of ‘the internet of things’, which allows for superior efficiency in day to day operations, financing and monitoring.
