Livestock and Wildlife Co-Existence and Facilitation

Professor Odadi of Egerton University and Professor Dan Rubenstein from Princeton University have been leading two different research projects at Mpala into the relationship between wildlife and livestock - and how the two can benefit each other and the ecosystems in which they live. This research is essential in a county where livestock are so integral to many people’s livelihoods, where there is also such an abundance of wildlife and genuine commitment to conservation and sustainability.
