This well established event on every wildlife-lover’s calendar has been running since 2016. A citizen-science based project, it has enlisted the help of hundreds of volunteers, whose collected photographs and data has shown that Grevy’s zebra populations are increasing in the region. Rosemary Warungu has been the coordinator for much of the GGZR work, through the Zebra Princeton Lab at Mpala Research Centre. The campaign is also helping to drive conservation and awareness for other species. Follow to read more.
