OBJECTIVES

The Association’s objectives are as follows:

 

• To ensure the formulation and implementation of pro-growth sustainable policies that promote Laikipia’s livestock and wildlife competitiveness, and encourage domestic and foreign investment

 

• To promote, monitor and evaluate policies in pursuit of an enabling business environment

• To promote betterment of farmers in their attainment of economic and social goals

 

• To conduct educational and research projects for the benefit of farmers

 

• To promote and secure legislation and other forms of government action for the benefit of farmers

 

• To promote higher standards of community life in agriculture

 

• To provide services for its members consistent with its objects and work jointly with any other person or organisations for the attainment of its objectives

 

• To raise or borrow money for all or any of the foregoing objects in such manner and upon such security as may from time to time be determined by the Association

 

• To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the foregoing objects

 

• To provide equal opportunities to all members
